“Retirement Living Options”: Learn about key features of retirement villages and manufactured home parks/‘over 50’s resorts’ in a free session presented by one of our PAVIL lawyers.  Come along for a chat and learn about issues to consider before making the big decision about where you will live in retirement.

This free talk will be presented by a lawyer from Caxton Legal Centre’s Park and Village Information Link (PAVIL).  PAVIL is a statewide service dedicated to providing legal advice and information to residents (and prospective residents) of retirement villages and manufactured home parks in Queensland.

The session will last for approximately one hour, and will provide free legal information about retirement living options in Queensland.  While many retirement living options will be discussed, the focus of our talk will be on common issues that arise for residents of manufactured home parks and retirement villages.  Attendees can expect to learn about documents and contracts, fees and charges, maintenance responsibilities, and questions to ask before signing on the dotted line.
